Career services assistance is available for both current students and alumni of Daniel Webster College, including:
Individual Consultations: Individual consultations help students clarify their educational and occupational goals by identifying interests, skills and values. Consultations may also focus on job search techniques and methods for researching employers. Current students or alumni can make appointments by calling 603.577.6585 or emailing CareerResources@dwc.edu.
Job Search Resources: The office maintains a series of handouts on topics such as resume writing and interview skills, as well as complimentary copies of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) JobChoices magazine. The Veterans Memorial Library also has a collection of career development materials that students may borrow. Job postings are available at www.DWCareers.com.
Resume and Interview Assistance: The Office of Career Services helps students and graduates prepare to present themselves professionally to employers both in writing and in person. The Office of Career Services can assist students in editing drafts of their resumes and in responding to difficult questions that could be posed by an interviewer. We can also arrange for mock interviews.
Workshops and Events: A variety of career development workshops are hosted by The Office of Career Services throughout the academic year. Topics vary from year to year and address issues such as resume writing, interview preparation and job search strategies. In addition, The Office of Career Services holds events such as DWC Career Day.
