The Daniel Webster College Department of Public Safety is dedicated to promoting a safe, tranquil campus environment for our students. Working with the Nashua Police and Fire Departments, the Campus Safety Department uses a system of education, prevention, and response to promote a safe environment.
- Students, faculty, and staff are expected to report unusual or suspicious activity to Campus Safety for investigation by our officers, or, if necessary, outside authorities.
- In emergency situations, Campus Safety has an audible alert system across campus using both sirens and voice commands to notify students. There is also a "blast email" system in place for pending emergencies. Campus Safety also utilizes an emergency texting system to notify students, faculty and staff.
- Campus Safety employs a series of workshops and bulletins throughout the year to help keep the DWC community informed about safety issues or concerns.
- Emergency call boxes are strategically located throughout campus.
