Parking & Regulations
Parking Permits: All Daniel Webster College students with a motor vehicle on campus must obtain a parking permit (sticker) within 48 hours of their arrival on campus. Stickers must be affixed to the inside of the lower left corner of the rear window or the lower part of the left rear side window.
Temporary Parking Permits: Temporary permits for overnight guests or students using alternate vehicles must be obtained upon arrival and are issued by the Campus Safety Department.
Regulations: Parking in fire lanes, handicapped parking zones or non-parking spaces (grass, sidewalks, and loading zones) is prohibited and will be ticketed and towed as will unregistered and/or inoperable motor vehicles.
Visitor Parking: The first two rows of Lot A are reserved for College visitors. Students, commuters, faculty, and staff are prohibited from parking in this area from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
Fines: Fines range from $10.00 to $100.00, depending on the severity of the infraction. Fines must be paid at the Student Financial Services Office.
Speed Limit: A speed limit of 20 mph must be observed for the entire campus.
Campus Safety Officers are empowered to direct traffic on campus property and enforce all parking and vehicle regulations. Officers may also issue an administrative summons for violations of these regulations. This enforcement helps maintain a safe environment for vehicle and pedestrian traffic as well as emergency vehicles.
Snow Emergency: Daniel Webster College occasionally experiences severe winter weather. Students, staff, and faculty vehicles must be moved for snow removal operations when snow emergencies are declared by the Campus Safety Department. In consideration of limited spaces, these notifications will be based on the duration of the snow event during a winter storm. Students should always check their e-mail, student message boards, and Student Portal or contact: Campus Safety Office 603.577.6033 or Emergency only 603.315.0471.
Towing: Towing fees are in excess of $100.00 depending on the time of day, plus a $20.00 a day storage fee. Once a tow truck has arrived on Campus, the full towing fee must be paid in full whether or not the vehicle's owner claims his/her vehicle.
Parking Violation Appeals: Those persons receiving a parking ticket for a violation have the right to appeal. An appeal must be filed with the Campus Safety Department within three business days of the violation date. Summonses that are issued by the Nashua Police Department must be brought to or sent to the Nashua Police Department for the purposes of payment or appeal, e.g., handicap parking violation.
