Operation ID

Campus Safety provides a service known as OPERATION ID.  This program is designed to assist students in protecting their valuables and to assist in providing Campus Safety with information in the unfortunate event that an item becomes lost or stolen.  Any student that has valuable items or possessions is encouraged to register them on-line and complete the information.  

Your information will be forwarded to Campus Safety where it will be filed.  Information that is collected and filed will include make, model, serial numbers, descriptions, color, approximate value, etc.  The department also has engravers that students may rent for no charge to engrave and identify their belongings.

Campus Safety also suggests that students and parents consider obtaining rider policies on homeowners insurance or talk to DWC about additional policies that are available.  Information can be obtained on these policies from Campus Safety or Student Affairs
