Chagan, Chojnacki Sweep
Weekly NECC Awards
The
New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced Monday
that Daniel Webster College women’s basketball player Joyce
Chagan of Boothbay Harbor, Maine has been named Conference
Player of the Week and Ali Chojnacki of Erie, Penn. has been
named Rookie of the Week.

Eagles (30 Assists)
Earn A Passing Grade Against Saint Joseph's, 72-62
The Daniel Webster College women’s basketball earned itself
a passing grade Monday night against old GNAC rival St.
Joseph’s of Connecticut. Sophomore Joyce Chagan registered a
game high 20 points leading four players in double figures
and the Eagles combined for 30 assists on the way to a 72-62
victory over the visiting Blue Jays Monday night.

Kemp Harris Named NECC Rookie of the Week
The New England Collegiate
Conference (NECC) announced Monday that Daniel Webster
College men’s basketball player William Kemp Harris of
Suitland, Md. has been named Conference Rookie of the Week.
Kemp Harris, a freshman forward, averaged 17 points, 2.7
rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 assists in three games last
week, helping the Eagles to a 2-1 record.

Keene State posted a 104-88 victory over Daniel Webster
College in the championship game of the 9th Annual Noyes
Volkswagen KSC Tip-Off Tournament at Spaulding Gym on
Saturday night.

EAGLE HARRIERS CAPTURE FIRST CONFERENCE TITLE FOR COLLEGE IN
12 YEARS
Backed
by a program record four top 10 finishes leading to four All
Conference selections, the Daniel Webster men's cross
country team delivered the first conference championship by
an NCAA program to the College campus in 12 years, winning
the inaugural NECC Championship Sunday afternoon at Franklin
Park in Jamaica Plain.

DWC enjoying life in newly-formed
NECC
Nashua, N.H. – There's a
different feeling among the athletic teams over at Daniel
Webster College these days.
They're winning.
"The nice part is, on campus we can sense it," Eagles
assistant VP of Student Affairs/Athletics, Phil Rowe, said.
"It just feels good. The student athlete, when he or she
walks around on campus, does so with a smile."

upcoming basketball season
Nashua, N.H. – The magical day that men's and women's
college basketball coaches circle on the calendar has come
and gone.
Yes, the balls are bouncing again in the Rivier College
Muldoon Center and Daniel Webster's Vagge Gym. Raiders coach
Dave Morrisette started his men's basketball season at the
ripe hour of 6 a.m. this past Wednesday, while later that
afternoon new Eagles head coach Dave Faucher, most known as
the long-time Dartmouth College coach, welcomed the troops.
