Dean S. Edmonds, Jr., Ph.D.

Dr. Edmonds is a retired professor of physics from Boston University.

He has authored numerous articles on mass spectrometry, as well as having written textbooks for college physics courses.

Dr. Edmonds is also the co-founder of two companies that manufacture mass spectrometers, lasers, and laser systems.

He served as director of Spectrometric (a division of Beckman Instruments) and General Ionex, Inc. and held joint appointments as Research Fellow at Harvard University and guest of the Physics Department at MIT.

He holds an undergraduate degree from MIT and graduate degrees in physics from Princeton University and MIT.

Dr. Edmonds is a licensed pilot.
