Rear Admiral Jan C. Gaudio, USN Ret., ’71

Rear Admiral Gaudio is alum of Daniel Webster College (New England Aeronautical Institute) and is retired from a 34-year career in the US Navy, where his command positions were extensive. His service awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit (2 awards), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards) and the Navy and Army Commendation Medals.

Rear Admiral Gaudio is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), a global non-profit service organization. The NMCRS mission is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational and other assistance to members of the Naval Services of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need. 

At the 2007 Commencement of DWC, Jan was recognized as a DWC Distinguished Alumnus for his service to our country.
