How do I access my K:
drive (network drive) in my room?
Once connected to
the network you will have to manually have to ‘map a network drive’.
Open a windows browser window (right clicks on your Start button and
choose Explore), go to the menu bar at the top of the browser – Choose
Tools – Map a network drive – Choose the drive letter ‘K’ and fill in
the following network path example:
\\excalibur\av_users\username. Your network path depends on your
academic major. For specific information about your specific network
path, please contact the Help Desk at 577-6522. Please note that
network file access is only available through a wired connection
– not through the wireless access points.
