Completion Program in Organizational Management is designed to give your career
the boost it needs. Cutting edge information that students apply to their own
workplaces is included in a comprehensive curriculum. Oral communication,
identified by business as the most important skill for individuals, is
extensively covered through such courses as Group Dynamics and Team Behavior and
Organizational Communication. Courses include concepts of career and life
assessment, organizational theories and issues in management. These courses are
designed to provide the information students need to understand current trends
in downsizing, rightsizing, re-engineering, continuous improvement, flexibility,
outsourcing, teams, internationalism and diversity. Functional areas, such as
Accounting, Economics, Marketing and Human Resource Management, also have a
prominent place in the overall curriculum.
The unique format of the program focuses
in depth on one subject area for five weeks and moves through the fourteen
courses in a logical sequence. As working adults, students stay together in a
group for eighteen months as they continuously learn in the classroom and from
each other. In short, the Daniel Webster College Degree Completion Program,
through its unique format and curriculum, provides the resources students need
for upward career mobility.
