Scope: The discipline of anthropology includes the study of a particular culture or society. Emphasis is placed on the study of the particular habits and group activities on a particular tribe or community. ( Barfield, The Dictionary of Anthropology) The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for the student in locating library resources that will provide an in-depth analysis of this topic.
