Introduction
You may
want to create a link directly to the discussion board within your
course documents or assignments or in other parts of the course that do
not allow you to Browse for a course link. Here’s how.

Find
the url for the Discussion Board page in your course.
v
Insert
the url where you want the clickable link.
Find
the URL and copy it
To
link to the first page of the Discussion Board:
v
Right
click on the Discussion Board button on the left side of the Blackboard
screen.
v
Choose
Properties.
v
Highlight the Address (URL) field and press Control/C to copy it. Make
sure you copy the whole thing.
To
link to the first page of a particular forum:
v
Right
click on the name of the forum, for example,
v
Choose
Properties.
v
Highlight the Address (URL) field and press Control/C to copy it. Make
sure you copy the whole thing.
Insert
the URL
v
Open
the part of the course where you want the link to appear.
v
Press
Control/V to paste the link.
v
If you
want to display the link hidden behind other text like “Click Here to go
to the Discussion Board” insert the following bolded text and insert the
link where shown:
