Ralph Ellison

Scope:  Ralph Ellison was the black American novelist whose novel Invisible Man was considered to be the most distinguished post war American Novel. He was the recipient of the National Book Award for this work. He wrote a number of essays and short stories focusing on the themes of man's search for self, and the meaning of his own existence.
