Pathfinder: Health Psychology

Scope: Psychological factors influence how people stay healthy, why they become ill, and how they respond to illness and treatment. Health psychology involves understanding behavior in this context as well as observing lifestyle factors such as stress, personality types, and coping skills which impact physical well-being. The mind/body connection bears investigation when considering the health aspects of the individual.
