Scope: 2/3 of adults are
overweight and at least 300,000 die each year from
obesity related diseases. Obesity has become a major
health concern in today’s society. Fast foods and lack
of exercise account for much of the problem. (CQ
Researcher, Jan. 31, 2003) The purpose of this
pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student
research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing
of all materials in the library on this topic, but as a
selective sampling of the many types of resources
available.
