Scope: 2/3 of adults are overweight and at least 300,000 die each year from obesity related diseases. Obesity has become a major health concern in today’s society. Fast foods and lack of exercise account for much of the problem. (CQ Researcher, Jan. 31, 2003) The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing of all materials in the library on this topic, but as a selective sampling of the many types of resources available.
