Ezra Pound

Scope:  Ezra Pound was a major literary figure of the 20th century. He was deemed responsible for the revolutionary trends in the world of poetry. Pound promoted and fostered other writers. In 1963 he received the Academy of American Poets Award. His poetry is noted for its blending of imaginative and lyrical qualities.
