Scope: Communication in terms of the field of psychology may be defined as information that is received and transmitted through both verbal and nonverbal behavior. Factors such as body language, intonation, stress, and loudness are considered when interpreting forms of communication. (Colman, Companion Encyclopedia of Psychology)
The purpose of this pathfinder is to serve as a guideline for student research. It is not intended as a comprehensive listing of all the resources available in the library, but as a selective sampling of the many types of materials available on this topic.
