SCOPE: The focus of social psychology is the study of individual behavior in relation to the social environment. The social framework surrounding the individual influences behavior. Interpersonal relationships, groups, crowds, social movements are all factors that influence individual behavior. Socialization is a lifelong process through which the individual learns, and becomes motivated to conform to, the norms defining the social roles that are played or might be played by that individual.
