New Hampshire
Community Technical College, Nashua,
and Daniel Webster College announce Articulation Agreement
(Nashua) — The New
Hampshire Community Technical College, Nashua (NHCTC-N) and Daniel
Webster College (DWC), Nashua, have signed an Articulation Agreement
that guides, assists, and supports the transfer of NHCTC-N students into
the baccalaureate degree completion program, EXCEL, at DWC. The
Agreement assures graduates who complete a NHCTC-N/DWC program plan that
the courses they successfully complete at NHCTC-N will be transferred to
DWC.
Signed by NHCTC-N
President Lucille Jordan and DWC President Robert E. Myers, the
Articulation Agreement is a collaborative effort to encourage open
communication and seamless continuation of students’ pursuit of their
academic goals.
According to NHCTC-N
President Jordan, “The agreement is designed to maximize the
applicability of the work successfully undertaken here at NHCTC-NH
through careful planning, evaluation, and effective information transfer
to benefit the students and enhance the academic goals of each
institution.” And, added Jordan, the agreement meets one of the New
Hampshire Community Technical College System’s strategic goals of
preparing students for successful college transfer and increased
opportunity for transfer.
Said DWC’s President
Myers, “This is a wonderful opportunity for both institutions, but, more
importantly, for the students of NHCTC-N. The curriculums at both
schools, designed to complement one another, will provide graduates with
a strong educational program readying them for leadership in their
chosen profession.” The NHCTC-N/DWC plan launches this fall.
