Christopher
Hilbert Valedictorian at
DWC
(Nashua,
NH) — Allentown’s Christopher Hilbert graduated valedictorian at
Daniel Webster College commencement ceremonies May 12 in Nashua, NH.
As an
Air Traffic Management major, Chris graduated Summa Cum Laude, is a
member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society, was named Outstanding Senior in
Air Traffic Management, and was the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding
Graduating Senior Award.
In his
address before nearly 1,000 undergraduates and graduate students,
faculty, staff, family and friends, he said, “I truly believe that in
the quest to achieve success on the terms of others, people lose sight
of the most important goal in life: the achievement of success on
their own terms … I present you this thought to promote the active
search of excellence in all your pursuits, pursuits which I sincerely
hope originate and are measured on your own terms.”
“Take
this time,” he told graduates, “to bask in your achievement, the
lifelong rewards which are derived from the education and training you
received at Daniel Webster College, and the equally lifelong rewards
of the fun and memories made along the way.”
“I wish
you the greatest happiness in life’s pursuits.”
