DWC Mental Health Awareness Committee donates to Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter

Daniel Webster College’s third annual Holiday Magic Project, sponsored by the college’s Mental Health Awareness Committee, recently made a large donation of “goodies” to the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter. Those goodies included: 55 “Holiday Magic” gift bags (necessities and niceties); 29 Beanie Babies; 80 candy treat bags; and grocery bags of food.

Donations also included cash gift of money from Arnold Air Society 50/50 raffle coordinated by Psychology major sophomore Matthew Annis, of Schenectady, NY.

Members of the DWC Mental Health Awareness Committee include Annis, sophomore Computer Science major/Psychology minor, Jonathan Lewis, of Londonderry, NH; and senior Computer Science major, Matthew DesRoche of Derry, NH.

Daniel Webster College provides educational programs for professional entry and advanced studies through undergraduate and graduate programs designed for both traditional and non-traditional students.

Its nationally ranked degree programs in aviation, including an online MBA for aviation professionals, are well complemented by innovative programs in computer science and information technology (gaming, simulation and robotics), aeronautical and mechanical engineering, sport management, the social and behavioral sciences, and business and management.

DWC partners with businesses in the areas where its graduates may seek careers to develop new programs to best meet the current and future needs of employers.
