Former Gov. Mike Huckabee announced last month that he was forming an
exploratory committee and considering a run for the Republican Party's
presidential nomination.
Friday, Huckabee made a stop in New Hampshire, his first as a contender
for the Republican Party.
Speaking to business leaders at Daniel Webster College in Nashua,
Huckabee greeted his guests.
The core of his message dealt with the war in Iraq and how the U.S. is
at war with a shameful enemy and he says despite the debate in
Washington over the war, Americans must support U.S. troops.
Huckabee says, “What you don't want to do is undermine those guys who
are right over there right now. Some of those guys are from my state;
support for them is unquestionable."
The former governor left Nashua and traveled to Manchester, N.H., where
he will speak at the Merrimack restaurant.
