DWC hosts world-traveled illusionist Oct. 12
People
materializing, dematerializing, levitating — it’s all part of
THE ANDRé KOLE MAGICAL
SPECTACULAR — and it will be landing at Daniel Webster College’s Collings
Auditorium on Thursday, October 12, in Nashua.
During this
colorful full-stage production, Kole combines his performing skill with an
extensive background as a psychic investigator and inventor of magical
effects. Says Kole, “As an illusionist, I do not waste my time trying to
accomplish that which is possible, but rather on that which is
‘impossible’.”
As a usual
feature of his show, Kole draws on his own research as a psychic
investigator to “bring out the truth behind communication with the dead,
transcendental levitation and other psychic phenomena, as well as the
Bermuda Triangle and psychic surgery.”
Several
years ago while he was touring in the Philippines
TIME Magazine asked him to
investigate “psychic surgeons” there who claimed to perform miraculous
operations without the use of any medical instruments or anesthetics. Kole
later testified in court in the United States on behalf of the U.S.
Federal Trade Commission in the Commission’s efforts to halt the promotion
of psychic healers in the country.
A skilled
illusionist since early childhood, and one of the top three inventors of
magical effects, Kole has performed before millions of people through
live and televised audiences in all 50 U.S. states, South America, Europe,
Asia and Africa—79 counties in all.
In addition
to holding the highest award from the Academy of Magical Arts in
Hollywood, Kole is a creative consultant for David Copperfield, probably
the best known magician in the world today.
A number of
years ago, Kole was challenged to investigate the miracles of Jesus from
the viewpoint of a professional illusionist. Sharing the discoveries he
made during that investigation is also part of this fast-paced production.
Andre Kole is a special traveling representative of Campus Crusade for
Christ International. His show is suitable for all ages.
This
special appearance of Andre Kole is sponsored locally by Campus Crusade
for Christ. Tickets are $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and are
available from Daniel Webster College or by calling (603)-577-6589.
Because of anticipated response, advance ticket purchase is recommended.
The event will be open seating and doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the show
beginning at 8:00 p.m.
