DWC athletes
recognized
Daniel Webster College volleyball players Brianne Johnson,
a junior from Nashua, and Ashley Boyd, a freshman from Hanson, Mass.,
have been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll
for their efforts last week. Johnson, a starting outside hitter, averaged
4.2 kills, 3.5 digs and .0.67 aces per game over two matches last week. Boyd
averaged 2.5 kills, 0.91 blocks, and 0.67 digs per game over the same two
matches.
DWC sophomore Kevin Horton, of Kingston, Mass., was recently named
the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Runner of the Week. Horton took
first place at the Franklin Pierce College Invitational on Oct. 5,
completing the 8k course in 31:38. Horton was also named to the GNAC honor
roll on Sept. 21. |
