Daniel Webster College Names Dean, Associate Dean for
New School of Business, Management and Professional Studies
(Nashua,
N.H.) -Professor Neil Parmenter, chair of Daniel Webster College's
Division of Business and Management, and Kimberly Blanchette, director
of Graduate and Continuing Studies Enrollment Management, have been
named dean and associate dean, respectively, of the College's new School
of Business, Management and Professional Studies.
The new School was created in recognition of the mutual relationship
that exists between business programs and the success of the College's
programs for adult students and other non-traditional cohorts.
"We know
that learning isn't limited to students of a certain age," said Daniel
Webster Provost Dr. Michael Fishbein. "The step we take today will help
us serve all students who come to Daniel Webster College seeking entry
or advancement in their chosen careers."
As
associate dean, Blanchette and her team will support the new School with
special focus on the adult, online, and graduate programs, as well as
the work of other divisions and schools as they target develop adult,
online, and graduate programs.
Professor
Parmenter, a resident of Nashua and a Daniel Webster College graduate,
has served his students with "uncommon dedication and his colleagues
with honesty and tact, and will be a wonderful leader," said Dr.
Fishbein. Parmenter has been with Daniel Webster since 1999.
Kim
Blanchette, a resident of Brookline, N.H., has been with Daniel Webster
since 2004 and holds a Master of Science degree, Innovation and
Technology Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Management.
