Daniel Webster College launches
executive certificate in financial planning
Nashua, NH, February 25, 2008 -- Daniel Webster College's School of
Graduate and Continuing Studies announced today the launch of a new
Executive Certificate in Financial Planning. Classes are
slated to begin April 11th.
The accelerated program consists of six classroom-based courses,
meeting on alternating weekends over a 9-month period. The
University has applied for approval from the CFP Board of Standards;
once approved, students who successfully complete the program will
be eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. Daniel
Webster offers this program in partnership with Kaplan Financial, a
leading provider of financial planning and education materials for
financial planners. Kaplan Financial has helped more than 10,000
professionals obtain their Certified Financial Planner® designation.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects personal financial
planning as one of the top three areas of professional career growth
in the coming decade. The Certificate in Financial Planning will
prepare both financial professionals and persons changing careers to
enter this rapidly growing profession.
Open houses for the program will be held at Daniel Webster College
on March 8th, 13th, and 20th.
