December 18, 2003 - More than 75 FAA pilot and mechanic
knowledge tests are available at Daniel Webster College (DWC) on
state-of-the-art Windows-based software at the college's new testing center.
Same day registrations and instant test results in a professional and
distraction-free environment make it more convenient than ever to take an
FAA knowledge test.
"This is a wonderful partnership we've developed with Computer Assisted
Testing Service (CATS). We are especially pleased to offer this type of
testing to our own aviation students, as well as to other members of the
aviation community," said DWC President Hannah M. McCarthy.
In October the college announced it is now the region's only educational
institution offering computer-based testing through Educational Testing
Service, offering GRE (Graduation Record Examination), GMAT (Graduate
Management Admission Test), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
and PRAXIS (Professional Assessments for Beginning Teachers).
DWC's testing center is located in the Anne Bridge Baddour Library
Learning Resource Center on the DWC campus, 20 University Drive, Nashua, NH,
adjacent to Nashua Municipal Airport's Boire Field (KASH). For further
