Daniel Webster community supports Marguerite's Place with Angel Tree Program

December 28, 2004
(Nashua, NH) — Daniel Webster College students, faculty, and staff bought new holiday gifts for Marguerite’s Place through the College’s annual Angel Tree Program. The Angel Tree provided a gift for 27 women and children, most of which were distributed at the Marguerite’s Place Christmas Party. Additionally, Daniel Webster students pooled their resources and purchased a bicycle for an 8 year-old boy in the aftercare program.

Said Marguerite’s Place Executive Director Ruth Morrissette, “We thank Daniel Webster so much for its continued support at this very special time of year. We thank them for helping us to make Christmas a time of caring and wonder for the families in the program.”

Marguerite’s Place has 10 families in apartments in Transitional Housing and another 30 families in its Aftercare program (graduated from Transitional Housing but still using Case Management and Day Care services which are offered for an additional five years).
