Daniel Webster College appoints
DiConza to CFO position
April 21, 2004 - Daniel Webster College announced the appointment of
Thomas N. DiConza, of Fitchburg, MA as Vice President of
Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
DiConza, 44, come to the college after serving 12 years
as the director of finance and operations at the
Worcester (MA) Natural History Society, or the EcoTarium
as it is commonly known. DiConza, a certified
public accountant, has extensive experience in
strategizing and managing organizations of various types
and sizes. Among his many achievements during a
23-year CPA career, DiConza oversaw a $19 million
capital campaign for a major infrastructure overhaul at
the EcoTarium.
"My
focus is to mange our financial resources and campus
infrastructure in a manner that will ensure the tools
necessary for our staff, and a great environment for our
students who are, of course, our number one
constituency," DiConza stated.
"It
is important to be vested into what your organization is
committed to. Having children of my own, including
one attending college, I believe strongly in the mission
of Daniel Webster College and the important roll of
higher education in general," he added.

DiConza, a graduate of Bentley College, is a native of
Fitchburg, MA and lives there with his wife Ellen and
their daughters Kelly, Emily and Mary.
