Midon named to Daniel Webster
College board
May
19, 2005 – William J. Midon of Concord, founder of InterVest
International Ltd, and serving as chairman and CEO, was recently elected
to the Board of Trustees at Daniel Webster College.
Midon hold a bachelor
of science degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University, a
juris doctorate degree from Boston College of Law, and is a graduate of
the Young Presidents’ Organization’s Program in Leadership from the
Harvard University Graduate School of Business. He is a keen aviator, a
certified instrument-rated pilot with ratings in fixed-wing turboprop
airplanes and piston helicopters.
Midon is also a
partner in Belldon Development LLC, a limited partner in CommonAngels Fund
LLC, and is on the Board of Advisors of FA Technology Ventures, L.P. He
is also a partner in Richmond Holdings Ltd., a real estate investment
company in Bermuda and was chairman of Millennium International Ltd.,
whose subsidiaries created the first Internet ISPs in Bermuda and the
Bahamas.
He is a member of
the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the
Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Lawyer Pilot Bar Association, WPO, is on
the board of CEO International and has served on the Young Presidents’
Organization International’s board of directors and on the board of Cirrus
Design Inc.
Mindon has served in
volunteer capacities with numerous school advisory boards. He is married
to Hilary (Cusack) Midon and they have four children.
