Links for New Students

The Internet is a great resource for all of us, and new college students are no exception! We found a few websites that may interest you as you prepare to make the big move. College is a different environment from home, so these websites can give you a little insight on what to expect. Check them out!

DWC Angel
In your Pre-Enrollment Packet you received a login and password to access this site.  Once logged in, you have access to placement testing, discussion forums where you are connected with other students, and all of the various forms and tasks that you need to complete prior to arrival. You’ll want to become very familiar with this site as it is used for course management and you’ll find that many professors use this tool for class assignments and information.

For more information about accessing Placement Tests from Angel, click on Placement Testing Information.

ResLife.Net
A must-see website before you get ready to pack up and come here for orientation. Gives you answers to some general questions about college life in general. Beware though: some things covered in this site pertain to large universities…we are a smaller environment where you’ll have lots of opportunities to get to know peers, faculty, and staff.

What's Happening in Nashua
The Nashua Hippo provides the community with an "inside" look on what is going on around the local area.  This page includes happenings in sports, theatres, restaurants, and much more!  One reading through this site and you’ll see that Nashua has lots to offer!
